GUILLERMO 'MEMO' DIAZ.
FOUNDER. COACH.
Diaz was born October 1995 born in the small town of Anthony, New Mexico boarding El Paso, Texas. Though Diaz is a natural athlete, baseball was the only organized sport he knew. It wasn't until middle school where he was then exposed to the game of soccer. Though he had a late start, that never hindered his success and furthermore motivated him to master his understanding of the game. He began his collegiate career at Yavapai College Prescott and went on to graduate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. As his collegiate career came to an end, Diaz had intentions of pursuing a career in law enforcement. However, on his journey home, timing could not have been better as he was called to play professional soccer back home for the El Paso Locomotives. Memo Diaz is currently with the Oakland Roots S.C. in California as a defensive player.
LOUIS 'CHAPA' HERRERA.
FOUNDER. COACH.
Louis Herrera, otherwise known as Chapa, was born May 1996 in El Paso, Texas. Chapa comes from humble beginnings growing up in Marmolejo Apartments, a public housing project in the valley. After his time at Bel Air High School, he decided to take time off from school and shortly after welcomed his son, Leonardo, with his wife Silvana. To support his growing family, Herrera worked in roofing and continued to play indoor when time allowed. It wasn't until head coach Mark Lowry for the El Paso Locomotives saw what he calls the 'X' factor in Chapa at a local tournment. Shortly after, Chapa was invited for a try-out and began his professional soccer career in 2019 as a center midfielder for the El Paso Locomotives. He continues his career for El Paso today, and is proof your life can change in an instant.
